Introducing our founder, RJ, a dynamic leader with over two decades of expertise in media, technology, communications, and venture capital. RJ is a powerhouse in launching and growing new ventures, securing crucial funding for startups, breaking into untapped markets, driving product innovation, and quickly capturing market share.
In his illustrious career, RJ founded and served as CEO of FUND Conference, one of the largest events in the US, bridging the gap between entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and angel investors. Before that, RJ established Venture Connects, a boutique investment advisory FINRA broker-dealer, to assist early-stage companies in strategy development, operational infrastructure building, mission-critical capital raising, and structuring. Through his collaboration with senior management teams from 140+ companies, he successfully raised over $110 million in aggregate equity funding from top-tier venture capital firms. RJ also boasts a resume filled with leadership roles at Fortune 500 companies.
Fueled by his experience and an unwavering passion for tackling grand challenges, RJ helms Momentous Ventures, a company dedicated to crafting affordable, scalable, on-demand solutions for businesses aiming to launch, expand, and scale new products and services.

A proud Kansas City native, RJ has made Chicagoland his home for the past 15 years, where he lives with his loving wife and two boys.
